Our Afternoon Preschoolers took a dive into the world of sustainability with a visit from the Casella Resource Rover! As part of our unit on Reducing, Reusing, and Recycling, our preschool students got an up-close look at how we can keep our planet green. 🌎♻️🌎

As part of National Poetry Month, our 2nd grade students got a special visit from the one and only Ted Scheu (rhymes with “shy”)—the Poetry Guy! Ted helped our young writers find their voices, teaching them that poetry is all about laughing, observing the world, and "juggling" words to share big truths.
We are so grateful to the PTA for their continued support in bringing these enriching experiences to our classrooms! 🏫

For May, we’re celebrating the incredible educators who make an impact beyond the classroom - reading specialists, MLL coordinators, teacher coaches, math interventionists, SLPs, Work-Based learning, and Library Media Specialists.

A huge thank you to the Milton High School Interact Club and the Milton/Colchester Rotary for visiting our 1st and 2nd-grade classrooms today. Our students loved hearing new stories and seeing that reading is a lifelong adventure.
It was a wonderful morning of mentorship, community, and, of course, great books!

🌸 Seasonal changes bring new germs. As students spend more time outdoors and together, maintaining strong hygiene habits helps reduce the spread of illness during spring transitions.
