Education/Experience
I graduated from University of Hartford in 2012 with a degree in elementary and special education and a minor in behavioral studies. I attended Wheelock College for my graduate program in STEM education and graduated in 2016. I have been teaching at Milton Elementary School since 2012. My first role at MES was a special educator in grades three and four. In 2013, I transitioned to being a second grade classroom teacher, and have been in this position ever since!
Interests/Hobbies
I love summertime and warm weather! During the summer I will often spend most of my time outside on the lake. I enjoy paddle boarding and relaxing on the beach. I also enjoy traveling and exploring new places. I can't wait for my next adventure! When it is too cold outside, I enjoy reading books, cross stitching, and taking care of my many houseplants.
A little about me.
I grew up in Connecticut my whole life. When I was in second grade, I knew that I wanted to become a teacher. I feel as though teaching second grade has made this dream come full circle! After graduating college, I moved to Vermont after visiting multiple times throughout college. My husband and I enjoy spending time together and with our friends when we are not working.
